Hello Smoky Hill Sharks Families,

Head Coach Kevin Balderman will host a parent meeting to kick off our season. See details below. 

Day 1 (Team Introductions)
We will begin with a short parent meeting at the start of each practice session. We’ll share a quick overview of the season, what to expect, and answer any questions you may have. While parents are meeting with coaches, our staff will be taking swimmer photos with a dry erase board (name included) to help us learn everyone quickly. This is a huge help for our coaching team! After that, we’ll do coach introductions and run a fun team social game to help swimmers get comfortable with each other. Note: There will be no in-water practice on Day 1.

Day 2 (Swimmer Evaluations)
We will focus on swimmer evaluations. Coaches will be observing strokes, skills, and comfort levels so we can begin placing swimmers into appropriate training lanes based on ability and friendships.
